Itinerary

Upon arrival at Jorge Chávez International Airport, a representative and private transport will be waiting to transfer you to your selected hotel.

Your guide will pick you up to explore Lima's Historic Centre, starting with Casa Aliaga, a colonial mansion with over 500 years of history and considered the oldest house in the Americas. Continue to Plaza Mayor, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, where you'll visit the impressive Lima Cathedral. End the day at the Larco Museum in the traditional Pueblo Libre district, home to an extraordinary collection of pre-Columbian gold, silver, and ancient Peruvian art spanning over 5,000 years of history.

A private transfer will take you to the airport for your domestic flight to Cusco. Upon arrival, a representative will escort you to your hotel. Enjoy a guided tour of the enchanting former Inca capital, visiting the Santo Domingo Convent built over the ancient Coricancha temple, the Cathedral Basilica, the impressive fortress of Sacsayhuamán, and the archaeological complexes of Qenqo, Puca Pucará, and Tambomachay.

Head into the Sacred Valley for a fascinating excursion. First stop is Moray, a mysterious Inca archaeological site featuring concentric circular terraces with distinct microclimates. Then visit Maras, home to ancient pre-Columbian salt mines still in use today, creating a stunning landscape of shimmering salt pools. Return to your hotel in Cusco in the afternoon.

A shared transfer will take you to Ollantaytambo Station, where you'll board the Voyager train to Aguas Calientes. From there, a 25-minute bus ride brings you to Machu Picchu — a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the New Seven Wonders of the World. A guided tour will walk you through this breathtaking Inca citadel, believed to have been built in the 1450s as a retreat for Emperor Pachacútec. Explore its most iconic landmarks including the Main Square, the Royal Quarters, the Temple of the Three Windows, and the Sacred Sun Dial. Enjoy a delicious lunch at Café Inkaterra with unique views of the Vilcanota River. Return to Aguas Calientes aboard the 360° train.

Enjoy a relaxed free morning in Aguas Calientes. If you wish, you may optionally return to Machu Picchu to explore additional areas of the citadel — we recommend waking up early to catch the sunrise over the mountain, a truly unforgettable experience. In the afternoon, board the train back to Ollantaytambo, where a shared transfer will take you to your hotel in Cusco.

After breakfast at your hotel, a private transfer with a representative will take you to Alejandro Velasco Astete International Airport in Cusco for your departure flight.
